Simatek Bulk Systems A/S offers a number of different bucket qualities and features, designed to meet rigorous industry standards by considering:

Product features (shape, size, abrasion, and fragility)
Physical conditions
Temperature
Sanitary and feed requirements

Simatek Universal Elevator’s buckets are divided into the following categories:

Injection moulded buckets in various plastic qualities: antistatic, detectable, food approved.

Thermoformed buckets in various plastic qualities, enabling flexibility regarding the application type.

Steel buckets in various steel qualities are ideal for demanding applications or abrasive products.

1. Standard Buckets
Our standard buckets are produced in injection moulded plastic, with bucket overlap and an integrated gable ring for a mechanical, forced controlling system.

2. Buckets without overlap (FRB)
FRB buckets without overlap enable individual and controlled filling.
- They have limited mechanical, forced control
- Thermoformed versions have replaceable gables
- They are used only in connection with the Simatek Drum Feeding System (Continuous Batch Feeding System), where the buckets are filled separately.

This feature minimizes friction and product compression during the filling.

3. Replaceable gables
When using buckets without overlap and with replaceable gables the maintenance costs are significantly reduced: only the wear part needs replacement, not the complete bucket.

4. Bearing suspended buckets
FRB with bearing suspension is ideal for abrasive products.
- Closed and lubrication-free bearing construction
- It generates less friction
- It has a documented 40% power consumption reduction
- Wear on the roller chain is basically eliminated

This solution optimizes energy efficiency and the system’s shelf life.
