Pet Food rations are divided into four groups according to their nutritional composition and quality of raw materials. Some more noble components and others not so much. The economic ou basic: it represents 65% of the market and absorbs all the growth of the sector; the Standard: represents 23% of the market; the Premium: 8% of the market and the Super Premium: 4% of the market.

In addition to the classification according to nutritional quality, they also serve a different audience according to economic social class. Being the Basic ration at a more popular price and the Super Premium with a higher price.

Nutritional quality of the rations and ingredients, the composition of protein and amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins and the digestible energy of the components and the ration itself is understood. The technological quality implies in the physical characteristics of the ingredients and portions, as well as those related to the manufacturing process.
