BANGKOK, ThailandPet Fair South East Asia, Southeast Asia's premier business-to-business trade exhibition for the pet industry, will hold its fifth edition from October 28–30, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

Jointly organized by VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific and Globus Events — organizer of Pet Fair Asia in Shanghai and owner of the Pet Fair Network, a portfolio of pet industry trade exhibitions across Asia — the 2026 edition is set to further strengthen Bangkok's position as a key meeting point for the international pet trade.

Johannes Kraus, Senior Project Manager of Pet Fair South East Asia, said:

'This edition reflects how far Pet Fair South East Asia has come in just a few years — not only as a leading pet trade platform for Southeast Asia, but as a truly international meeting point for the industry. Bringing exhibitors and buyers from more than 80 countries together in one place creates opportunities for business, sourcing and partnerships that are difficult to replicate anywhere else in the region.'

A Global Show floor, Rooted in Southeast Asia

Pet Fair South East Asia 2026 is forecast to bring together 450 exhibitors from 40 countries, covering the full pet industry value chain from established brands and private label manufacturing to ingredients, technology, packaging, machinery and other supply chain solutions.

The exhibitor base is expected to comprise approximately 30% local and 70% international companies, reflecting the increasingly international character of the exhibition and its role as a regional sourcing and business development platform.

Adding to this international presence, the show will feature dedicated country pavilions from the United States, Italy, Spain, China, India, Japan, Thailand and other Southeast Asian markets, providing visitors with a structured way to discover exhibitors by market and giving participating countries a focused platform to showcase their pet industry capabilities.

The exhibition will also feature a strong lineup of leading international and regional exhibitors, showcasing products, technologies and solutions across the pet industry. Key exhibitors include Sea Value, i-Tail, Thai Awesome, Absolute Nutrition, Kaniva, (all Thailand), Animonda (Germany), Gimborn, My Family (Italy), and many more, representing major segments such as pet food, pet health and wellness, accessories, technology, OEM and private label manufacturing.

The international reach extends to the visitor audience. Pet Fair South East Asia expects to welcome 12,500 trade visitors from more than 80 countries, within a strictly B2B show concept focused on business opportunities across distribution, retail and sourcing. The show is designed exclusively for trade professionals, including distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, private-label buyers, manufacturers and veterinarians.

The 2025 edition welcomed trade visitors from 80 countries, with particularly strong representation from East Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, Europe and the United States, alongside the wider Southeast Asian region.

Visitors are expected to include distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, private label buyers and veterinarians, reflecting the show's role as a professional sourcing and partnership platform rather than a consumer-focused event.

With pet ownership and pet care spending continuing to grow across Southeast Asia, Bangkok offers a strategic location for companies seeking to enter or expand across the region's fast-growing markets. Its extensive air connectivity also makes the city an accessible meeting point for international buyers and exhibitors from across Asia and beyond.
