ANDRITZ has commissioned a new paddle mixer for compound feeds.
The main benefit of the innovative ANDRITZ OptiMix mixer is high speed, as it can mix up to 30 batches per hour, three times faster than the previous generation of mixers.

Other advantages are the unique design features, which make the mixer cleaner and easier to maintain.

The OptiMix paddle mixer has a special self-cleaning device: The rotor changes direction between each batch, ensuring that all surfaces stay clean as the material is mixed.
Furthermore, placing the nozzles directly at the inlet ensures that they are clean as each batch is loaded.

The paddle mixer was tested and verified by TI (Technology Institute) and MTSE (Micro Tracer Services Europe) and achieved the highest possible scores for mixing quality (mixing probability > 25% within 75 seconds, which is equivalent to to a coefficient of variation.
