Global Pet Expo, presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), is the pet industry's largest annual trade show featuring the newest, most innovative pet products on the market today.
The 2019 Show featured 1,174 exhibitors, 3,604 booths and more than 3,000 new product launches. 7,029 of the most qualified pet product buyers in the industry attended the Show, including an impressive number of international retailers.
In 2020, Global Pet Expo will take place FEBRUARY 26-28 in Orlando, Florida. Global Pet Expo is open to independent retailers, distributors, mass-market buyers, and other qualified professionals. This show is not open to the general public.
At Global Pet Expo, more than 1,000 companies from around the world showcase the latest and greatest products available for all types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, small animals and horses. The Show features 16 football fields" worth of pet products, more than 3,000 product-launches and nearly 300 first-time exhibiting companies. Ranked one of the top 100 trade shows in the nation by Trade Show Executive Magazine, the Show has also grown in recent years with special sections including the Natural Pet, Boutique, Everything Aquatic, and What"s New!.
The New Products Showcase gives exhibitors the opportunity to highlight their newest lines, and gives attendees a chance to preview all the newest products hitting the industry in one location at the Show. This 45,000 square foot space on the trade show floor is set aside to recognize the year's best creative efforts in New Product and Point-of-Purchase Displays. With nearly 1,000 entries, this is the largest new products showcase at any pet product industry trade show in the world. The New Products Showcase "Best in Show" awards are the most coveted awards given in the industry. Winners are announced at the Annual New Products Showcase Awards presentation.
